In response to my previous post about the nameless wife, my invisible blogging friend from Italy, Alessandra, has been kind enough to write a proposed obituary/epitaph about me:
She was a nice, funny, lovely person.
A loving mother and wife.
She wrote very meaningful posts, for the amusement of a lot of “invisible friends”
And yes she had a part-time job too ![]()
Her uniqueness made the world richer.
We’ll always miss her wit.
May she rest in peace.
Isn’t she the sweetest?? I especially like that she included mention of my part-time job
To return the favor, I have written one for her as well:
Here lies Alessandra,
Loving mother, wife, sister* and cousin*
Friend to everyone she met (those visible and invisible)
Beautiful inside and out;
She did NOT resemble Julius Cesar when she was young (nevermind if you’ve heard otherwise)
She extolled the virtues of bidets
Mopped around her kids
Taught interested parties about Italian bureaucracy
and provided plenty more tips of the random variety
The future’s in the air
I can feel it everywhere
Blowing with the wind of change…
She will be truly missed.
*I’m assuming that she has brothers or sisters and cousins; I do not know this to be factual.

I swear I never know in what direction this blog is going to go from one day to the next!!
One direction I wish it would go is in the direction that would update my Link Within posts!!!

This is not at all what I expected to find here today, but you sure keep us on our toes, you silly one!

Yeah, it’s pretty safe to assume that an Italian has a large family.

I never know what I’m blogging about from day to day either. Last night I dreamed I was on a tropical vacation and was searching for wifi to put up a hiatus notice on Stir-Fry.

Awesome!
I, for one, am glad this obit is premature… I don’t even have a suit picked out or anything
I like the randomness.

Random is good. It keeps things interesting.

My life hasn’t been impressive enough for a good obit so far. I need to work on that.

Such a sweet gesture …in a weird kind of a way, but then weird is good in my world. It does make me wonder what people would say about me, but then it may be best not to dwell on that!

OMG! This IS returning the favor, no doubt!

While I’m going to hide myself, just saying,
you are such….a lovely person
And yes, I have cousins but I am an only child.
Oh, and what about charging a bill? our obituaries are great.
Morituri te salutant!
P.s. Not because it’s about us, but this is an awesome post.

Very sweet & true but I was surprised to see it here.
Ha! I think the part time job reference is hilarious! I know that’d be the first thing to mention in someone’s obit.

Okay, that was kind of fun! I wonder what my HUBBY would write in my obit. I better write my own and just keep it updated

For me the greatest fun of blogging is discovering those little tidbits of life that under other circumstances would slip by unnoticed and then sharing them with invisible friends from around the world.
EEk this is a subject kind of hard to think about for me but you made it fun!!
